Naomi’s post is delightful… and poignant. Our three “young ‘uns” are married with children, and in one case also grandchildren of their own, but yes, they’re still our babies. They’ve all lived in different cities since they were married. Our eldest and his family are moving this summer and for the first time in 35 years we’ll have family members living in the same city as we do. I’m giddy at the prospects. 🙂

I am happy for you, Carol. My daughters live in Juneau Alaska, San Francisco, and Austin Texas. However, I look forward to a visit in two weeks by 2 out of the three. And the eldest is making preparations to relocate here in the future. I understand giddy!
I also am mystified as I hit “Press this” and it put Naomi’s blog here, which is my old blog site. Not a problem, but now I need to get the “press this” connected to my new blog site.
I hope you are subscribed to my new one at http://marionspicher.com It is a combined website and blog. I miss seeing you and the other subscribers I had on this site. Hugs, and happy summer to all.

I think Google Reader has somehow given priority to my subscription to your older site because I’ve been missing those posts, although I knew you had moved. I was surprised when this post turned up. I’ll make some changes at this end to make sure I don’t miss anything else. 🙂

Good to hear from you, Carol. Thanks for fussing with this. I’ll try an experiment if you are willing … I’ve now put the “press this” button on my new blog, so I’ll do that when I visit your blog and see if it turns up in the correct one. Last time I used it, it took the page to my old site. And probably the subscribers to that site are still getting emails from there. That might be what happened to you.

Your comment on my blog now links to your new site, and I’ve put the correct subscription into my Reader files, so with any luck it’ll work fine from now on. Thanks, Marion.
