Tulip Fields in Skagit County, Washington State
I’m dreaming of spring. Did have some lovely sunshine after the brief snow shower this morning. I’m just stopping by to wave at you all, and ask for comments on any changes on the blog appearance or blog roll additions. Wana711 and others, please email me if you are not on the blogroll list and would like to be included. Suggestions and comments are welcome. Hope you’ve all had a great day, and will glide along through Wednesday and on into the weekend. Or … you could just enjoy each moment … See you soon!

Well, today, Sunday, I am relaxing after attending the RWA meeting in Everett. I couldn’t resist the lure of the jello shots, a big hit for many. (Okay, truth? I wasn’t allowed to imbibe!) Noticed some rosy cheeks. During the basket raffle, of course who won a round for our table? Moi! The talk by Andrea Hurst of http://www.andreahurst.com/ enlightened the room full of writers.

Hey Marion! Blog looks great ~ I’m not sure exactly what you want me to look for, but I think it looks good. I like the blogroll and your other lists over there on the right.
Are you going to be blogging more on Scottish history? I hope so!

Thanks Tameri. Mostly I wanted to clean up the blog roll and add the Wana711 folks. But some of the fonts irritated me … still would like to learn CSS to I can individualize things a bit more.

Hi Marion! Waving back at you. Love the new look and those vivid red tulips. Gorgeous! Thanks for putting me on your blogroll. I did notice you have the words Kate MacNicol and Beyond after my wordpress link which I think was supposed to go with Kate Wood’s link below mine. Easy fix. Sometimes our fingers start typing and just don’t stop. Love when that happens on my WIP!

Oops, Kate. Thanks for flagging the goof for me. I’ll fix it shortly. It was late and I noticed I misspelled your name, so I thought I was fixing something. Grin. Thanks for stopping by, and glad you liked the tulip fields.

No worries Marion. We’ve all done the same thing — I had a hero in a manuscript who’s name was spelled “Brain” instead of “Brian”. LOL

Nice to see you back here, Marion. Your blog is looking very nice (of course, you’d expect me to like this template as it’s the one I chose for my blog, too). Enjoy your ‘down time’ and take it easy until you’re fully recovered.

Nice to see you here, and thanks for the good wishes. Another writing friend uses the same template as well. Wishing you a blessed spring, and more!

Hola Marion!
Those tulip fields remind me of the ones I saw in Amsterdam. They definitely remind me of spring. It’s going to rain all week here in California. I’m getting antsy to plant more roses out front.
Hope you are feeling better.

Ah, Jennifer! Roses! And California! One of my three precious daughters lives in San Francisco, and I envy her weather reports, often. Hope the rain is just right to avoid drought and keep from dampening spirits! Thanks for stopping by. I am enjoying your leads to RWA RU articles.

I’m across the bay from SF. And yes, we definitely need the rain! I’m tempted to start weeding as soon as it lets up. Thanks for stopping by RU. We normally post on MWF.

Hi Marion! Glad you are feeling better. Love the photo of the tulips. They are my favorite flower, and I’d rather have them than roses any day of the week. 🙂
Like the look of the blog. You’ve been busy!

Thanks for the visit, Bridgette. Thanks for the well wishes. The upside of taking it easy is that it allows me to try to update things a bit. And with so many wonderful internet buddies, I’m able to spend more time with them as well!
I am impressed by with your blog. How did you get it to show the last blog post of the person who leaves a comment? I looked all over for a way to do that, and was not successful.

There’s a rumor circulating about those green jello-shots. I’ve heard if you consume one, your personality may change, and if you get carried away … well, they’ll carry you away. Grin.

Scary! If I dare throw one back, I’ll raise my shot glass in your honor first. But just one–we don’t want to get carried away!

News flash. Might have to attend the meeting to find out what the green jello shots really are. They have a dangerous reputation in our Everett Chapter of RWA.

Thanks for the visit, Naomi. Don’t think I’m quite up to the Everett Meeting, but a lot can happen in two days! The tulips should be well on their way!
