Catching Up

Life events have usurped time and taken precedence over writing.  Three tasks—editing a completed manuscript, continuing with the story of pioneers in Canada, and sending a requested synopsis of both to an agent—are calling to me.   March 1,  strong hope for a new schedule including writing time.  Hungering for it!

Here in the Pacific Northwest, the Olympics have captured the interest of dwellers on both sides of the border.   Spring is early, tree blossoms popping, both pink and white.  A cloudless sky and warm sun today as well.  Husband and neighbors are cutting grass.

My main computer is in the computer hospital, so will get back to the blog with something interesting—and hopefully useful—later this week.  I read an excellent blog entry discussing a writer’s successful result after a plunge into self-promotion.  I want to encourage her to post it here.   It backs up the efforts of 1st Turning Point website to encourage us to learn self promotion techniques.

Regarding the all day workshop presented by Mary Buckham … I had a date with a flu virus instead.  All reports from those who attended said it was a stellar workshop.

Wishing all writers a productive and imaginative mind and nimble typing fingers!  And peace … to all who visit here.
