I am sitting in front of the screen, fingers poised on the keyboard, and wondering what to say and how to say it. I have two dear friends who have lost husbands, and one of them lost a son as well. I know words can’t lift grief, so I try to avoid platitudes and encourage the grieving to walk through the veil of tears. I cried with my friend tonight, and my heart longs for her to find relief from that deep wrenching grief. We were able to laugh a little as well.
I removed the poem but if you wish to read it, my web page is http://www.marionspicher.com/

Yes,, I can relate. I have a very good friend who lost her son at the age of 13, 5 years ago. My heart aches for her and her family but all I can do is be by her side, occasionally, when time permits. No words need to be spoken. We have shared much laughter and tears!
Love you.
Thank you for being a part of my life!

Hi Marla,
Thanks for stopping by! So how about it? Do you have any aspirations to become a writer?
